The apartment has a variety of original Maltese features and provides an authentic experience. In the hart of the historic Malta, set right at the magnificent waterfront of the oldest of the Three cities (founded by the Knights in 1552), this apartment offers stunning views, authentic historical setting for the sophisticated traveler and all the modern conveniences at a knock-down price! Among the latter we count convenient ferry, bus and water taxi transport links to Valletta and beyond, exquisite restaurant and bar outlets just across the creek, plus the numerous local establishments at hand. The apartment is furnished with a tasteful emphasis on the original Maltese features now rapidly disappearing throughout the island's noisier and busier tourist areas. These features include traditional patterned tiles (to keep the weary traveler's feet cool in the heat), traditional Maltese balcony insightfully converted into a dining room with breath-taking views of the Grand harbour and the cities of Valletta and Vittoriosa (beautiful settings should finally be counted as the necessary condition for healthy eating and living!). Old wooden beams adorn the aristocratic high ceilings, adding a touch of nostalgic grandeur. Lloyd House is located in front of the Saluting Battery which is the ancient ceremonial platform of Valetta from where it continues to this day to shoot guns,blanks (at noon precisely 12:00 and sunset at 16:00), and Upper Barakka Gardens, the most beautiful park in Valletta, created on the bastion of St. Peter and Paul in1661, ex-garden 'suite' of the Italian Knights of St. John, whose residence inn (auberge) is nearby and open to the public in 1824 where you can enjoy stunning views of the Grand Harbour, the ancient cities of Senglea and Vittoriosa, Fort St. Angelo, Fort Ricasoli in Kalkara. Robert, the owner, was born in Malta and speaks Maltese, English, Italian and French will be happy to give you advice and information about places to visit and things to do during your stay, also the restaurants in the area that are worth a visit Listen out for the gun salutes at noon and sunset from the ancient ceremonial platform. Step over to Upper Barakka Gardens, perhaps the most beautiful park in Valletta. From here, there are fine views of the Grand Harbor and nearby ancient cities.

Three Cities | Bastion Seaview Studio

This is my home in Malta! A small apartment (which I intended to live in) on the bastions along Senglea. The place is dominated by the sea view onto the Marsa / Floriana / Valletta part of the grand harbor. It’s an exciting view with lots of ships coming in and out. At night the mouth of the harbor area in the distance glows warmly. The studio is bright, colorful and I look forward to welcoming you there!
