在Serifos的旅居
Idyllic house with magnificent view
The Cycladic group of islands in Greece is renowned on a global scale for its unique cultural importance and natural beauty.
Serifos, the island of the Cyclops, Medusa’s head decapitated by Perseus and floating on the Aegean Sea, is a typical Cycladic island. It is an elemental island, a creation of Light, Legend and Sea-spray.
Only 70 miles away from Athens and the port of Piraeus, Serifos is being serviced regularly by high-speed vessels and by conventional ferries “bringing” it and its magnificent beaches just 2.30 hours and 4.30’ hours respectively away from Athens and its international airport.
Close to the Island’s port at a magnificent and quiet area, which goes by the name of “Skliri Gremos” near-by the village of Ramos, there is a villa of about 250 sq. meters built on the cliff and hanging over the sea overlooking the gulf of “Livadi”.
The stone villa is built in a plot of about 15,000 sq. meters securing thus privacy and tranquility to its inhabitants. It has a ESE orientation with commanding views on the Aegean and the islands of Folegandros, Sifnos, Ios, Antiparos, Paros, Naxos, Syros ant the beautiful town of Serifos, the “Hora”.
The breath-taking view can be enjoyed from all the rooms and the verandas of the villa and even whilst swimming in its 14 meters long swimming pool.
There are 4 bedrooms in the villa all with their own bathroom, air conditioning and shaded verandas, accommodating 12 people. Three bedrooms accommodate two persons each and the fourth, a big L shaped space of 45 sq. meters (actually two rooms “en suite” with one common entrance), accommodates six persons.
Following the “elemental” character of the island the Villa is built entirely out of local stone, of wood and colored plasterwork whilst its pergolas are made of cane that is native to the island.
