The cottage near the lake

The cottage by the lake is a charming self contained chalet that boasts both modern clean lines and that warm traditional Portuguese feel. This sweet little chalet is ideal for couples or has a sofa bed to sleep up to 3 people. A spacious clean and modern bathroom is adjacent to the sleeping area which has a great double bed, space to hang clothes and a lovely view of the front garden. There is a modern yet rustic kitchen that includes a microwave, fridge, double hob and basic amenities. There is a dining space for meals and a huge flat screen!! At the front of the chalet is a seating space for two and around to the side a large eating area with a beautiful wall mural, barbecue and large table and benches beneath the grapes vines. 🍇 A quaint and luxurious place to relax in peace and take in the view and only minutes from the town of Pedrogao Grande which has plenty of bars, restaurants a supermarket and many other amenities. Just a 2 hour journey to both Lisbon and porto airports and just 40 minutes to the beautiful city of coimbra. A daily breakfast is also included

Reconstruída em 1975 , “ o palheiro do Xabregas“ tornou-se num agradabilíssimo refúgio de férias e fins-de-semana. Come and enoy the early autumn days with the rich changing of colours in the centre of Portugal. Get the peace and quiet of the countryside amidst forest lanes with the towns of Pedrogao Grande and Figueiro dos Vinhos with restaurants, supermarkets and shops about 9 - 11 kms away. The Barragem do Cabril, with an outdoor pizza restaurant (summer) and two well known river beaches are in close proximity. There is a local cafe and mini-market about 300 metres from Chale Pomba.

Nära till många kulturella och historiska platser, så som Templarstaden Tomar, Xisto byar och den livliga universitetsstaden Coimbra. 1 timme och 40 minuter från både Lissabon och Porto.

Agro-turismo Quinta da Fonte is a small rural campsite for camping with your OWN TENT. We also have guest rooms, a cottage, rental tents and a romantic caravan, see our other adds on Airbnb. There is a small superb restaurant on the site, on request we cook 6 days a week for our guests (all diets, vegetarian, vegan, allergies), tuesday and thursday the restaurant is closed. You can come and camp with your own tent on the lovely meadow next to the small stream.
