Perfectly located cabin central to key areas. You are 12 mi from Boone, 8 mi from Sugar Mountain, 10 mi to Banner Elk, 15 mi to Beech Mountain, 13 mi to Grandfather Mountain, and 13 mi to Blowing Rock. The cabin has 3 levels with a Bathroom on each level. It has a grand feel when you first walk in and you see the floor to ceiling stone fireplace. The loft has a seating area with couch, TV, and some kids toys. The bottom floor has a game room with TV lounge, pool table, and arcade games. Entire home We live in Wilmington, NC. We do have support in the area for emergencies. You can also message or call me. Bear Pause Cabin is a gorgeous log cabin nestled in The Lakes Community in Seven Devils. This location is supreme as it is centrally located between Boone, Banner Elk, Sugar Mtn., Beech Mtn, Appalachian State University and Blowing Rock. Our cabin overlooks the lake and forestry. Parking for up to 3 vehicles in front of the cabin. During wintry weather 4WD or AWD are required. 4WD or AWD is necessary when snow and/or ice is on the ground. In the winter season I recommend making arrangements to travel with 4WD or AWD regardless of weather forecast.

Located at the top of a mountain in the Cherokee National Forest, this home is the perfect getaway from the city with no street lights or engine noise! 4/10 of a mile to Lake Watauga and the Appalachian Trail. >15 mins to zip lines, hiking & under an hour to the NC ski slopes. Route to home is on paved, all season roads. Driveway is steep, but parking available on the street also. NO FIRES ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY.
