Secluded Private Guest Suite with Gorgeous Gardens

Stroll by a gently flowing waterfall through a unique and lush garden, perhaps to meditate, or simply to sip coffee in the morning sun. The tranquil atmosphere is echoed inside this lovely suite as well, with its oriental touches and soothing decor. Bright sunny patio and garden area with waterfall in the pond. I am happy to help with any questions you have. We live here and are available both day and night. Just call Wally at 425-785-9511. With easy access to I-90, head West to Seattle for work or shopping. Seattle is just six miles away. Or head east a short way to discover upscale Bellevue shopping, theaters and restaurants. Unfortunately there is no bus service located nearby. Parking is directly behind the house on the left side of the garage area near the blue hose. Teresa and I look forward to your visit. Turn Left into the driveway for the Mercerwood Shoreclub--- that address is 4150 E. Mercer Way. Turn left again on the road between the club and the tennis courts. The first house you see is ours. Please park behind the garage on the left side near the blue hose. There is a wooden gate. Please go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs TURN RIGHT and Left and right again to the end of the house. You will see red chairs in front of your space. The code to open the door is. With easy access to I-90, head for West Seattle for work or shopping. Seattle is just six miles west, or head east a short way to discover upscale Bellevue shopping, theaters and restaurants.

Kinglet Cottage - Bright and Sunny Lake View!

Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.

Originally built in 1956 and fully remodeled in 2015, our studio delivers "retreat vibes". The entire east wall is floor-to-ceiling windows with views that peek through trees and show glimpses of Lake Washington. The Atelier is a light and airy 400 SF studio with birchwood cathedral ceilings and skylights in a private backyard. A wonderful place for sleeping and dreaming! Sheer curtains cover the wide glass doors: see out but not in. No AC. Kitchen has a stovetop and microwave, coffeemakers and pots and pans. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with heated floor. Enjoy wifi, books, games, and a working turntable with LPs! Just outside, a comfy garden patio.

The cottage is a private, self-contained unit, featuring a well-stocked kitchenette, tiled shower, bedroom loft with french doors opening onto a deck, flat screen TV, DVD player, wifi, Bluetooth wireless speaker, and off street parking. Dog weight limit 25 pounds. Noise may be an issue for some due to airplanes. Stairs to the loft are steep. We are also located on a steep hill. We provide coffee/tea, juice, and some snacks.
