Relax in our charming bed and breakfast on the edge of the National Park. Its a perfect spot to base yourself for all Peak District attractions and local festivals. 2 lovely bedrooms share a luxurious bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, toilet and hand basin. There are views over Wash Valley from every window. Breakfast is tailor made for you by Jane. Please book an evening meal 2 days in advance. Local villages offer a great choice of cafes, pubs & restaurants for your lunch and supper.

Elton Guest House Family Suite

Elton Guest House is a former farm house lovingly restored by the current owner. Close to Matlock and Bakewell and attractions such as Chatsworth House. The grounds feature ample parking in our cobbled courtyard and an old lamp post and water pump on the frontage. The family suite consists of two bedrooms, one large bed sitter with a double and twin beds and a separate twin room and en suite bathroom. Breakfast is included in the price. There will always be a warm welcome at The Old Stables. We have a lovely double room available. TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a continental breakfast are provided. You have your own private bathroom, with a large walk in shower & roll top bath. There is great walking, running, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, climbing & golf all on our doorstep with good views from the house of Bamford Edge, Win Hill & Shatton Moor. If you are a group of 3/4, we do have a second room on request.

Tannery House is a hidden gem set within private grounds, with Bakewell on your doorstep. A family home, and two very friendly dogs, Ziggy and Bounty. We will be around if you need us and happy to have a chat. Currently breakfast is available at Avenue House, a few mins walk away. Breakfast is between 8.30 to 10.00am and is included in the price.. We are ideally situated on the Chatsworth Estate within the Peak District, close to Chatsworth House itself, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Eyam, Matlock, Castleton, Buxton and Sheffield.

Sherwood Forest and Sherwood pines mountain bike trail are less than 10 mins drive, with lots of nice walks in the vicinity. Easy on street parking and a relaxed homely feel.
