Come and stay in our comfortable front of the house double ensuite and spacious family home, formerly a farm, start the day with a hearty breakfast. We are situated centrally in the charming village of Litton, with walks from our door and other walks and attractions including Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are reached a short distance by car. Secure storage available for cycles & rucksacks. breakfast can be served in the privacy of your own kitchen, or you may also wish to make use of the patio in our idyllic South-facing garden. Double Room (+breakfast) in Bamford, Peak District

There will always be a warm welcome at The Old Stables. We have a lovely double room available. TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a continental breakfast are provided. You have your own private bathroom, with a large walk in shower & roll top bath. There is great walking, running, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, climbing & golf all on our doorstep with good views from the house of Bamford Edge, Win Hill & Shatton Moor. If you are a group of 3/4, we do have a second room on request.

Willows Caravan

Willows one of our deluxe caravans and is a two-bedroom caravan situated in a quiet location within our grounds. It has a double bedroom, single bedroom, kitchen, lounge and dining room area, and a bathroom. This caravan has full central heating throughout. Our online booking facility is set for arrivals on Mondays (minimum stay 4 nights) & Fridays (minimum stay 3 nights). If your booking requirements are different from these parameters, please call us directly for availability.

Tannery House Garden Room 2 - Cosy Double en suite

Tannery House is a hidden gem set within private grounds, with Bakewell on your doorstep. A family home, and two very friendly dogs, Ziggy and Bounty. We will be around if you need us and happy to have a chat. Currently breakfast is available at Avenue House, a few mins walk away. Breakfast is between 8.30 to 10.00am and is included in the price.. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU ARE BOOKING DECEMBER 31st or 1ST BREAKFAST OPTION WILL BE BREAKFAST COBS or PASTRIES TAKEN IN YOUR ROOM FROM 9AM.

We are ideally situated on the Chatsworth Estate within the Peak District, close to Chatsworth House itself, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Eyam, Matlock, Castleton, Buxton and Sheffield.

Little John room perfect for exploring Robin Hood

A double room in my lovely modern home, with use of the newly refurbished family bathroom. I live within 15-20 mins drive from Mansfield and Worksop. Chesterfield, Sheffield and Nottingham can all be reached in less than an hour. Sherwood Forest is less than 10 mins drive, with lots of nice walks in the vicinity. Easy on street parking and a relaxed homely feel.
