Get comfortable with mountain views and fresh, clean air at 3,200' altitude, close to Canaan Valley/Blackwater Falls State Parks. Also, Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob (highest point of WV). Lots of hiking/biking trails. Unique shopping in Davis and Thomas with a variety of restaurants. Fast food? An adventurous, scenic drive goes to Parsons, with the only McDonald's and traffic light in the county. Relax on the back deck to view the horse pasture and the small private airport.

Grab your skis or board from your private locker and walk to lifts - 70 steps or less! We are just a few miles drive to Canaan Valley Ski Resort & White-grass! Afterwards, you will enjoy the views 3rd floor views by the gas fireplace! Nicely updated with stone fireplace, copper counter tops, new appliances, and jacuzzi tub. We offer High Speed Internet. AT&T has service coverage but if you have Verizon or another carrier I would check before you come. this area is remote so prepare!

Comfortable, well kept, and convenient

I am minutes to the resort center yet central enough to take advantage of non resort amenities. While there is no ski in/out from this location, there is affordable food, country comfort, and you are still only 10 minutes from Top of the World. It is a very unique property and is geared towards regular skiers, bikers, families, and couples. You park right out front, the hot tub is next door, & restaurants and a market just a few minutes away. Any pet must be approved in advance.

Our guests stay upstairs in our 1929 American Foursquare house. Central air; separate entrance, wooden floors. Daily, weekly or monthly rates. Small, fully-equipped kitchen with stove and refrigerator, small dining room. The bathroom has a tub and shower. Television with Netflix. Wifi and off-street parking. Two bedrooms (queen-sized bed, two XL twin beds), living room. Short walk to Gypsy Hill Park, 1 mile to historic downtown (Trolley). Small town, Big Magic!

Stay here! In the coziest studio on the mountain, across from Powderidge slope/lift. Sleeps 4: queen bed + sleeper sofa (both with new foam mattresses), and a self-inflating air mattress, just in case. You'll have a full kitchen (with a Keurig and kcups), Roku streaming device, washer/dryer, a wood burning fireplace with FREE FIREWOOD (during ski season), and a balcony that backs up into a wooded area with plenty of deer to greet you. :)
