The Grokenberger was built in the 1940's by Gene Grokenberger. Gene's family fled Germany in 1917 in the middle of the night with just their suitcases After returning from WWI in the South Pacific, Gene became a brick mason. He built much of the brick structures in Shasta County including actor and film maker Clint Eastwood's fireplace. Enjoy a game of pickle ball, relax on the patio BBQ, or visit beautiful Burney Falls.
