We are minutes from where you can launch kayaks and fish on the Aughwick Creek. It is24.4 miles from Lake Raystown and dam in Entrekin, Pa. This is a source of boating, camping, fishing and water sports. It is 64.5 miles from Penn State Beaver Stadium in State College, Pa. There are many nearby tourist attractions and areas for hiking and biking trails.

Thousand Steps for hikers. If you like hunting State Game Land is real close. Hunters are Welcome.

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

WATERFRONT : This property sits on the waterfront of the Juniata River. You have your own private entrance into the water. Popular with Penn State and Juniata College sports fans. Near Raystown Lake. This property sleeps 6. It has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a bathroom attached. Fully stocked and clean kitchen. This location is a water front property howevef there is a near by train that runs.

The McVeytown House house is located within walking distance of the Juniata River Access Area. Yoder Tourways Bus Garage is right across the street, in case you are scheduled for a tour! And with the railroad right close by you can watch the trains from the living room and also the front porch! There are 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms each have a queen bed and the third has a king bed.
