The Pigsty

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. Situated in the picturesque Meon Valley, within the South Downs National Park, Garden Cottage is just a minute’s walk to the chalk stream, River Meon and access to the Meon Trail (the dis-used Railway Line) - perfect for walking, cycling and horse riding. Centrally located for exploring the cities of Winchester, Portsmouth, Southampton or Chichester.

New annexe above triple garage with south facing balcony offering outstanding views over Corhampton Down, part of the South Downs National Park. The accommodation includes a shower room, sleeping area with double bed, sitting and dining areas, breakfast preparation corner. Off-street parking available. Short walk from the villages of Exton, Meonstoke and Droxford which have excellent gastro-pubs and are waypoints on the South Downs Way, the Wayfarer's Walk and the Monarch's Way.

A hidden gem in the Hampshire Countryside tucked away in a tranquil setting alonside the River Meon, Poggle's Riverside Cabin offers the perfect escape for those seeking peace and relaxation. If you want to extend the invitation to friends, you can for a small extra fee. There's plenty of space for everyone, including your furry friends! So whether you're planning a romantic getaway or a gathering with friends, Pogle's Riverside Cabin promises a memorable experience for all.

The Woodshed

The Woodshed is right in the heart of the South Downs National Park, between the villages of Warnford and Exton, a secluded and peaceful space surrounded by a working farm. The Woodshed has a view of Old Winchester Hill that is magic. Activities in the area include biking, hiking, and angling, and three of the best pubs in Hampshire are within a 5 mile radius. As we are a little distance from the main track, I am happy to come and collect guests from Exton if walking.

Relax and admire the views, BBQ on the fire pit, spot deer and hare or stroll down the river Itchen to The Bush gastro pub. You’ll return home totally refreshed!
