The Bird Nest

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil log cabin hand built by my grandfather and father from cypress trees pulled straight out of the Louisiana swamps. Escape the city & enjoy the serenity of the country life. Located 15 minutes from Monticello and 25 minutes from Brookhaven. Dollar General located 3 miles away & a country store with fuel 1.5 miles away. This fully furnished 2/1 currently has 1 full size & 1 queen size bed and 5’ shower(not a full tub). Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY!

Country Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We offer 45 acres of woods with accessible trails, a perfect get away from the city life. Very beautifull and remote country setting and yet close enough to nearly restuarants, convenient stores and gas station. Spacious three- bedroom two-bathroom with fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Bring your favorite fishing rods to fish in our pond for bass or bream or take a walk in the woods. Our chickens are ducks are people friendly.

The Eagle’s Nest

The Eagle’s Nest is not your ordinary Glamping Tent! It’s a HUT! This treehouse is hidden and tucked away on the back side of our 30 acre lake. Unplug here and enjoy nature! No wifi but some find cell service here depending on your provider. Enjoy a good night sleep in a King Bed and kids ( or adults) can camp out in the above loft area on 2 twin mattresses! Note: NO bathroom inside the hut. The bath house with 3 full baths, is just a short walk up the path! NO SMOKING INDOORS! NO CAMPFIRES!

Welcome to our newly built modern cabin on a secluded lot in the trees. Custom details include shiplap ceilings, cedar-lined bathrooms and cypress window trim. Designed to promote restfulness, the decor is minimal, the color scheme neutral and the large windows bring nature inside. Choose your favorite outdoor spot on the porch, deck, balcony or backyard. Books and board games are provided indoors. There are no TVs in this peaceful place. We do have internet for your connection needs.

It’s an old house out in the country with lots of character & very cozy!! Not A HOTEL SUITE!! If your looking for piece & quiet, its there..:) I also have things on hand there if you need something.. extra sheets, bathroom things, kitchen condiments and seasoning.. I also have an extra full size air mattress & por-ta-crib Everything has WiFi , no cable just TVs and DVD players .. There’s 3 smart tvs 1 regular tv. They all have Roku ..
