The Bag Inn is a Hobbit Style Home. Filled with comfort and wonder, it will help you step out of the mundane world and retreat to a fantasy world. The Bag Inn features a fire place, walk in shower, and soaker tub. It is 1000 sq ft complete with separate bedroom, large luxurious bath, living and dining space. Please note that access to the river is less than three minutes down the road to the right/left of the cabin. This home features a fantastic front porch to drink your coffee on and a large backyard! Both Silver Falls State Park and Abiqua Falls are under 20mi from this location and worth the trip.

In our rural location cell phone service is not available nor is Wi-Fi. Come to The Cottage to disconnect and reconnect with your family and the outdoors (a landline is provided). There is a maximum of 4 guests allowed to stay at this property - adults and children included! Because of safety children under 5 cannot be accommodated!

Our hidden gem is surrounded by the forest, in the foothills of the Cascade mountains, directly across from Silver Falls State Park. A short 1/2 mile walk will bring you to the North Falls parking lot, or use our pass* for free parking anywhere within the state park. *Pass must be returned before checkout.

One queen size, memory foam bed, heating/air conditioning, wall mount fireplace, outdoor sunken fire pit, high speed internet, large 8' projection screen for movies with great surround sound system, and a secondary covered parking area with a washing station for motorcycles are just some of the great amenities we have to offer.

The Hideout | A Modern Tiny Cabin Near Mt. Hood

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.
