The building in which the homestay is, had been built in traditional Ladakhi style, the floors are wooden & ceiling is also made in the traditional Ladakhi style- with tree trunks. Some of the rooms have best view of the mountains specially Stok glacier. ( 6150 meters above sea level). Outside the building there is farm in which we grow green-spinach, bokchoy, brocolli, cauliflower, cabbage, potato, tomato etc. we practice organic farming since 2009.

Our Handcrafted Home is a private home situated in Choglamsar Village, a suburb of Leh in a calm residential area with plenty of greenery. We are away from the buzz in Leh but still very close with 7km to Leh. We started building this house in 2019 with the idea to create a space which feels part of the land it is built on and in harmony with the ecosystem of Ladakh. We love cooking for our guests so dinner and breakfast are included if you wish.

You'll find a beautiful wood and mud house, made in local architecture, where our family lives on the ground floor with 3 Tibetan breed dogs. Our top floor houses 3 private rooms open for travellers, with mesmerising Stok range view from the large glass windows.

You will get simple home-cooked food, with seasonal vegetables plucked straight from our farm at times. Simple vegetarian breakfast and dinner are included. Our property A202 is located in Hunder near Nubra Valley just 10 mins from river bank. It's right beneath the hills infront of water stream. The guesthouse has 12 rooms. U can book as many rooms as u want. Each room has a king bed which keeps 2 guests easily and upto 3 guests also. Extra mattress will be provided on need.(extra charges will be applicable)
