Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to camp. We have 60 acres of mountainous land with hiking trails and great views. Perfect for family time, bonfires, relaxing, hiking, biking and picnics. Bring your own hammock or find one of ours up in the trails! Very peaceful area close to Damascus (20min) Whitetop mountain (30min) and Grayson Highlands State Park (40min). Private fire pit, picnic table and charcoal grill (Charcoal provided). Bring your bikes and ride the Back of the Dragon ( space to park a trailer at the home), spend the day at Hungry Mother, visit your Emory & Henry student for the weekend or make a 40 minute drive and try your luck at the new Hard Rock casino in Bristol. Marion is the perfect location for outdoor lovers. 15 minutes from Mount Rogers visitor center and the AT.

Fisherman by the Creeper and river - Huge Porch!

Our Fisherman cabin has two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one full bathroom, and sleeps four guests. The front of the cabin faces the river and the back is just steps from the Creeper Trail.
