Watch the sunset from the backyard patio, spend the afternoon kayaking on the beautiful 1000's Island waters or fishing from the newly built 65ft dock. The water is clear and clean, perfect for swimming and water activities. Very clean shoreline (no weeds). It's a beautiful, peaceful and private place.

A perfect getaway for 2 (or on your own), you’ll sleep comfortably in a queen-size bed with all of the must-have amenities, including an in-unit compost toilet, running water and an outdoor shower. Cook meals over the fire or grill and relax under the stars in the wood-fired hot tub (seasonal). Enjoy some modern comforts while getting up close with nature so you can truly unwind. AC, WiFi, smart tvs in each bedroom and the living room. A spacious kitchen with all basic cooking essentials, a regular coffee pot and a keurig. Bathroom downstairs with stand up shower, upstairs bathroom with tub/shower. Outdoor deck with seating and propane grill and an outside fire pit, (bring your own wood)

The Chez Heron was built in 1872 out of local limestone and was made to resemble a small Gothic castle. It is nationally registered as a historical structure. It is set up for 1 couple looking for a peaceful getaway. Full kitchen. We will have a bottle of champagne chilling for you .We have an outside Hot Tub and Fire area for you to relax and enjoy. Located within the vilage of Chaumont and walking distance to several local businesses.

No wifi but excellent cell service. Cottage is basic but views are fantastic. Scorpion Island is a unique experience in the heart of the 1000 Islands just east of Gananoque.
