The Traveler

The Traveler features two bedrooms with full size and queen size beds, spacious living area with large flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, outdoor furniture in back patio, fully stocked breakfast kitchen and a full bathroom with shower. Nestled in the backwoods of Amish country, the Lazy 8 is a historic farmhouse on a peaceful estate with all the accommodations of country living. Constructed in the mid 1800’s, the Lazy 8 was remodeled in 1973. The core was renovated and wings were added onto both sides. In 2023 the property was completely renovated with modern materials, updated technology and added unique touches. Relax with the whole family at this newly renovated historic 1800s home on Penns Creek. Our creek front property provides an excellent fishing spot that the local community refers to as "The Commons." Enjoy the private outdoor area while still being conveniently in town. We are approximately 15 minutes from Bucknell or Susquehanna University. Knoebel's, Penn State and the Little League World Series are also close! More exterior renovations to come in the Spring!

Our property is also a quick drive from the Beaver Springs Dragway and located just an hour’s scenic drive down Route 45 from the Penn State football stadium, especially stunning in the fall.

Two Sisters Country Home

This house is a spacious home that will suit the whole family. It also has outdoor living space and a pool. Your will enjoy the quiet country feel yet close to outdoor events and entertainment. Our breezeway gives you a great view of the Cocolamus dam, farming fields and a passing by amish horse and buggy. There is also access to the garage where there are extra fishing poles, yard games and bicycles to use during your stay.
