The Traveler

The Traveler features two bedrooms with full size and queen size beds, spacious living area with large flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, outdoor furniture in back patio, fully stocked breakfast kitchen and a full bathroom with shower. Nestled in the backwoods of Amish country, the Lazy 8 is a historic farmhouse on a peaceful estate with all the accommodations of country living. Constructed in the mid 1800’s, the Lazy 8 was remodeled in 1973. The core was renovated and wings were added onto both sides. In 2023 the property was completely renovated with modern materials, updated technology and added unique touches. Enjoy the comforts of modern day living with the peace and serenity of the country ambience.

You won't want to miss this unique spot surrounded by woods and a beautiful view of the mountains, enjoyable from both the outside deck or inside the 25-foot Great Room. This special house was created in 2005 by a man who relocated here from Long Island, NY. It is far from your typical farm house in Snyder County, but with all the same great views and privacy.
