You’ll feel a million miles from your hectic everyday life, yet it’s only 10-15 minutes to pick up groceries or head out for dinner at The Hen House or Cornucopia. Need a getaway in the middle of the woods? Come visit the Whispering Pines Cottage in the mountains. Surrounded by beautiful nature, streams, forests, hiking trails, and so much more! We are located near Linn Run State Park, Powdermill Nature Reserve, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Ohiopyle, and the beautiful, quaint village of Ligonier! Our cottage has a full kitchen with all the basics, 2 beds, and a fully equipped bathroom. We do not have cell reception. Our wifi is VERY SLOW/does not work.

Less than a mile to downtown Ligonier shops and restaurants. 1.5 miles to Idlewild Park. 10 minutes away from Laurel Mountain Ski Resort.

Mountain Oasis Cottage

Our Cottage is located at the base of a mountain on a dead end road it is very tranquil with a lot of deer that feed in the back yard. We are 15 minutes from the city of Cumberland Maryland where the “Western Maryland Bike Trail” is located and 30 minutes from historic Bedford, PA. The Cottage has two bedrooms that each feature queen size beds, one living room with a pull out queen size sofa bed, and a sitting room with a full size pull out sofa bed. Heated and cooled w/ mini splits.

Perched on the edge of the Allegheny Front. Clear days offer a panoramic view of pastoral Bedford County. The renowned Allegheny Front Hawk Watch is a short walk through the forest. During the spring and fall one can see migrating hawks and eagles through the picture window. Our guests enjoy the tranquil forested, sunrise and sunsets, the night sky, and wildlife.
