Norfork Lake is only minutes away and Bull Shoals Lake is 45 minutes. The cabin is set back off a quiet county road and is surrounded by large oak trees. Wildlife is often visible from the comfort of the wrap around porch. The interior is bright and airy featuring hardwood floors, exposed beams, and vaulted ceilings.

After a day of floating the North Fork River or hiking the Mark Twain National forest, cozy up at The Carter Farmhouse. Nestled on a working cattle farm, you're sure to experience peace & quiet. Built in the late 1940s, The Carter Farmhouse will take you back to the days of milk & cookies at grandma's house. This vintage cottage experience is located approximately one mile from The Twin Bridge Canoe Rental and approximately a twenty four minute drive to the town of West Plains, Missouri.

Our Country Lace Retro Place is a quaint little studio apartment nestled upstairs overlooking our rolling hills of the Ozark’s with abundant Wild Life (which can be scene early in the mornings or late evenings) and foliage ….furnished with a toaster, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and a Nija Flip up air fryer oven. Full bath with a furnished hair dryer and linens. Living space includes a king size bed, sofa and a oversized chair. We also have WIFI and our custom made retro TV….

Sleeping space includes a queen bed in the beautifully furnished bedroom, a couch in the living room, and a twin bed in the loft. There is a fully-equipped kitchen. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower & washer/dryer.

This newly renovated farmhouse is perfectly located minutes from Cloud 9 Ranch, the Northfork River, and the Northfork/Bull Shoals Lakes. Cloud 9 Ranch members can drive their side by sides & 4 wheelers to Cloud 9 by access of our connected county road! The Farmhouse is perfect for float trips on the river or day trips to the lake! The Farmhouse of Caulfield is perfect for a couples getaway or the whole family!

Lorland Country Retreat

Come stay on a family friendly working cattle farm with over 200 acres of beautiful landscape and gorgeous views. Enjoy your coffee/cocktails from the front porch of a turn of the century farmhouse while watching Southern Missouri's abundant wildlife including white tail deer, turkey, and other critters. We are also a pet friendly farm. The rear yard is fenced for the safety of your loved ones. There is a $10 per day per pet fee, which is due upon arrival.

Due to the secluded location there is no wifi and limited cell phone service a great way to get off grid and relax.
