Dorset Yurt offers a quiet and rural retreat yet within a couple miles of the picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis, which is on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. A country store selling local produce (including an off licence ), is a three minutes walk from location. Only one yurt on site with your own cabin equipped with a small kitchen/dining area (fridge, microwave, hot plate, toaster and a kettle ) including a hot shower, and flushable toilet. Parking space (EV). No pets allowed.

A 'Wooden Yurt' in a stunning location

Our wooden roundhouse is just like a yurt only made out of wood! The ash pole and cedar shingle roof rests on bespoke wall joists and the whole structure is clad in cedar - a beautiful unique space. The canvas 'top hat' can be taken off so you can sleep under the stars. And that's just the inside! Step outside and you have simply breath-taking views across the farm and surrounding countryside and out to the sea. Lake yurt has a woodburner, double bed, double futon and single futon, kilim rugs and Moroccan lanterns. Walk across the little bridge into your own woodland which is full of bluebells in the spring. You have your own fully equipped rustic kitchen with dining area a few steps from the yurt and your own compost toilet and wood fired shower.

It has its own kitchen with a fridge/ice box, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, two-ring induction hob ,table and chairs, two USB charging points and a Webber BBQ. Moroccan style yurt with art deco fire and cooking facilities, set in its own wooded private area with outside fire pit. With use of glass house and seating area in private grounds including woodland and paddocks to view alpacas peacocks and many more animals. We are 20 minutes from coastal areas 15 minutes from Barnstaple, the Tarka trail and Exmoor. Also their is a footpath to the local pub from the property. We are a small friendly family run business.
