One of two shepherd's huts located on our traditional working hill farm in the stunning Wasdale valley. The huts have everything you need to enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of the world. Wastwater shepherd's hut comes complete with a double bed, kitchen area with induction hob and a bathroom with shower. Perfect place to start numerous walks from the doorstep including many of the popular Wainwright hills such as Scafell Pike and Illgill Head. Easy access to the lake for kayaking etc.

Apple House - an exquisite bohemian retreat

Apple House is a quiet retreat, a much loved space where you can completely unwind. Standing in the garden of Hylands, a fine Arts and Crafts House, to the West of Kendal, it's decorated using quality local materials and skills of local crafts people. It has beautiful views to the wildlife garden; pond, kitchen garden and the hills beyond. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops, cafes and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub 'The Rifleman's Arms'.

A peaceful dog-friendly rural retreat with walks on your doorstep, exclusive use of the garden, charcoal BBQ, pizza oven, and a wood-fired hot tub to relax in.
