The Nook at Newalls- luxury shepherd’s hut

Nestled in the hills 5 minutes outside Kendal, the hut sits in its own private meadow, enjoying far reaching views of the fells. Choose to hunker down in the hut with a book, play board games and unplug from the rest of the world or use it as a base to explore Kendal and the beautiful Lake District National Park. Step inside and you'll find a snug and cosy retreat with King sized bed, log burner and underfloor heating. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the patio and the private fire pit area.

Cruck Cottage Shepherds Huts - Woodside Hut

This is one of three lovely shepherds hut in a woodland garden retreat. We are five minutes walk from the pretty dales town of Pateley Bridge and a field away from the Nidderdale Way. Woodside Hut has a double bed, wood burning stove and small kitchen with two ring hob and fridge. We have separate showers and toilets with underfloor heating and a secure drying room. Perfect place to start numerous walks from the doorstep including many of the popular Wainwright hills such as Scafell Pike and Illgill Head. Easy access to the lake for kayaking etc.

Lyth Valley Shepherds Hut, South Lakeland, Cumbria

Lyth Valley shepherds hut is situated on a 35 acre lakeland sheep farm at the head of the peaceful and beautiful lyth Valley, famous for its damson orchards. The shepherds hut faces south west and looks over wild flower meadows. Set in its own pretty cottage garden you can watch the birds feed from the feeders, nesting swallows,curlews calling and bats swooping in the evenings. A base for a host of outdoor activities with many beautiful walks and idyllic cycle routes on your door step.

Set on our Adult Only caravan park in the quiet hamlet of New Hutton, near Kendal, our self contained, underfloor heated hut, contains a sleeping area, bathroom and kitchen equipped with all necessities - utensils, cutlery, crockery, kettle, toaster, sink, hob, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. A sofa bed gives you all the comfort and relaxation you need. Your bathroom includes a toilet, wash basin and shower.
