A charming small self-contained cottage on a quiet farm, located one mile from the market town of Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds. An ideal place to touch base if you are looking to escape to the countryside and explore what this picturesque area has to offer. Chipping Norton has great transport links with regular bus services to Woodstock, Oxford, Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon. There are train stations in two nearby villages, Kingham and Charlbury, both with direct train links to London.

Chestnut Eco Lodge Woodland Wilderness Escape

Immerse yourself in nature in our off-grid eco lodge. Nestled in a wooded spinney at the heart of our working farm, our lodge is hand built from sweet chestnut making it one of a kind. With an en-suite compost toilet and heated shower, log burner and gas stove there is no need to venture into the wilds in wintry weather. When it’s sunny, an outdoor kitchen with wood fired oven, and fire pit bbq enhance outdoor living. Tiny shepherds hut, bluebell, is included as a cosy nook/ extra sofa bed.

Our cosy space offers tiny living with luxury. We are confident that our small yet mighty space will meet your needs offering a comfy double bed, shower room, snuggly sofa and a fully fitted kitchen and inspire you on what can be created in a small space. Our cosy space is a renovated garage situated next to our house but you will have your own private entrance and lock safe. Parking is also available. Dogs are very welcome but please add them onto the booking as there is a charge .

The Hat's Hut - a cosy wooden self-contained hut

The Hat's Hut is a unique wooden hut set in a beautiful location on a working farm and looks out onto a paddock with horses and other wildlife, it has a 4ft5 by 5ft8 bed with a wall at each end. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Farthings Cottage is a little hideaway in our garden close to our house but with a feeling of privacy. We live in the southern part of Warwickshire and whilst easy access to Stratford on Avon, Warwick and the Cotswolds, we are nestled away in our 26 acres of horse fields and forest. As well as two children there is also one friendly golden, a cat and five horses. We would say that a car is an absolute necessity as we are a drive away from all amenities.
