The Barn. A charming 1 bedroom rural retreat.

Characterful barn, set on a South Oxfordshire farm with beautiful views. The Barn is attached to the main house but has a separate entrance and outside seating area which is not overlooked by the main house. Only 25 minutes from central Oxford but a rare slice of rural life, with horses, cattle and chickens as your neighbours. Fabulous local walks in the Chilterns and excellent local pubs. This is adjacent to an occupied family house. It is properly rural and best suited to those with a car.

The Oak Barn, your own space in a Thameside hamlet

A beautiful private space all to yourself, the Oak Barn has great character & enjoys lovely views over fields to the Chilterns beyond. You have your own entrance & key so can come & go as you please. The hamlet of Preston Crowmarsh lies on the river Thames & is a great place to wild swim & watch red kites. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Thames towpath & an 8 minute walk to the bus stop for Oxford and Reading. We leave you to enjoy your privacy but are next door in the main house if needed.

Steeped in history and oozing character, it dates back to the 18th century. Vaulted ceilings and old beams frame the bedrooms which are furnished with an ornate bed/sofa bed/Egyptian cotton bed linen in a combination of dusky pinks/greys all in a shabby chic style. Chandeliers, silk bedspread, Farrow & Ball paint and Bamford Botanical sustainably made toiletries.

A beautiful, secluded apartment, the Stable Loft has been lovingly restored into the perfect countryside retreat. The Loft is tucked away by a stream on the edge of a pretty village boasting beautiful scenery, lovely walks and an award-winning pub. Nestled at the foot of the Ridgeway, Letcombe Regis is the perfect location for walking or cycling holidays, as well as a wonderful spot for those who want some peace, quiet and culture, with the historic city of Oxford less than 20 miles away.

Ideally located for easy access to the M3 & M4 motorway network and close to Rivervale Barn, Warbrook House & The Elvetham wedding venues. There are three very good Pubs within walking distance, all do superb food. All local amenities are close by. Wellington Country Park and California Country Park are also within close driving distance.
