Hakoniemi - Old log house in Northern Saimaa

”Hako” stands for a spruce tree or a tree lying in the swamp or in the water, waiting for clearing. Hakoniemi is a coniferous peninsula in North Karelia, located in the inland archipelago of Northern Saimaa. The creative space in Rääkkylä, Oravisalo, provides a framework for working and leisure, combining creativity and nature.The 1925s old farm has got a new life as a center of creative activity where you can organize workshops, events, marketing projects and tourist and accommodation services.

Kapasiteetti; kesällä 16(8+8) ja talvella 10(8+2) henkilöä. Hinta sisältää lakanat + pyyhkeet (pakettihinta 8:lle). Skootteri ja moottorikelkka lisämaksusta. Kangasniemen kauppoihin ja PuulaGolfin kentälle on n. 10 km. Tilan omistaja esittelee tarvittaessa eri harrastusmahdoll.

Master bedroom and another bedroom turning into a double and a baby cod accommodate a family of 4 on your holiday. A year-round livable villa with a beautiful garden is hidden by birches and pines. There is an indoor sauna, a gorgeous barbeque patio, games room, and a wood-burning lakeside summer sauna with a pier. A rowing boat, 2 mountain bicycles, a SUP board can be reserved.

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Kaislan Tila

Kaislan Tila sijaitsee maalla, 22km Mikkelistä pohjoiseen. Asumme tilan päärakennuksessa ja pihapiirissä on 65m2 erillinen asunto. Tilalla on eläimiä ja ympärillä tuhansien järvien Itä- Suomi sekä luonnonantimiltaan rikkaat metsäalueet. Läheinen järvi tarjoaa harrastemahdollisuuksia, ongintaa, uintia, veneilyä yms. Metsissä on voi samoilla, marjastaa, sienestää ja vain nauttia rauhallisuudesta sekä hiljaisuudesta. Talvella voi lumikenkäillä sekä hiihtää ja luistella olosuhteiden salliessa.

Pihlaja-ahon alpakkalomat

Narisevat puulattiat, puilla lämpiävät tulisijat ja vankat hirsiseinät. Yli 100-vuotiaalla Pihlaja-ahon torpalla voisi luullaa tipahtaneensa keskelle Suomi-Filmin kohtausta. Jos siis kaipaat vanhan ajan maalaistunnelmaa, niin olet tullut oikeaan paikkaan. Pihlaja-ahon torpalla pääset viettämään ainoana tilana Suomessa ainutlaatuista alpakkalomaa. Torpan 1,3 ha:n luonnonniittyjä laiduntaa kolme kilttiä alpakkapoikaa, joiden helposta hoidosta vastaat itsenäisesti ja oman aikataulusi mukaan.

Come be our guest and visit our beautifully restored old house “Väentupa,” located on the grounds of historical Putkisalo manor and sheep farm. The house has three bedrooms, a comfortable living room and other cozy spaces to relax in. A fully-equipped kitchen and sauna are also in our guests’ use. Here you can experience an authentic taste of life on a sheep farm.

The house is part of an old farmyard. The finnish-german couple welcomes its guests the year round, for only one night or for longer stays. The farm and its surroundings offer plenty of activities. You may enjoy our exellent saunas heated with firewood & swimming in a little lake. There are few sheep, horses, cows, chicken, rabbits, ducks, cats and dogs at the farm. The animals are friendly. Horse trekking is also available.

Cozy cottage by the lake on a farm

The Kaita cottage is by the lake next to a farm house in the countryside. The lake is excellent for fishing. The cities of Kuopio, Mikkeli and Savonlinna are good daytrip destinations by car. The cottage is well equipped. The sauna, shower and toilet are in the main building. You can cook either in the cottage kitchen or the grill house.
