Brookside Country Escape 40 Minutes to CHC Airport

Arrive at the wonderful space we have created for a peaceful relaxing stay. Sit on the deck enjoying a gorgeous sunset with a glass of wine listening to the bird song. The spaces include a well-appointed kitchen, warm and inviting living area which has a sleeper couch to accommodate an additional guest - great for a friends retreat. Separate bedroom with a comfy queen bed. Breakfast included of cereal, fruit, tea and coffee and some lovely farm fresh eggs. Check in via a lock box, flexible.

Lofty ceilings and timber walls create a warm bach-like interior with large ceiling fans in each room and a log burner fire. Glass sliders open out to dramatic views of the harbour and hills. Picturesque Lake Ellesmere is across the road, with 50,000 birds at last count making it a bird watchers haven. The nearby villages boast outlets for local arts, crafts and antiques, and a fine swimming pool for the many hot summer days.

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has a gas cooker, bbq set, microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey.
