The headboard is a fireplace mantel which came out a Rockefeller home during a remodel. Ensuite bathroom with shower. We are a B&B so breakfast is included with your stay. This is 8 years being ARBNB hosts in our home. Guests, one party up to 6, share the second floor that is private, simple and elegant with 3 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. Also private parking & own porch entry that is furnished with bamboo shades, table,couch, chairs, ceiling fan, and fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave. Fire pit & access to gardens. Walking distance to restaurants, park with ocean bay beach and mountain hiking trails. Host provides drip coffee, to go cups and breakfast supplies.

Winter Harbor has restaurants and galleries, a ferry to Bar Harbor and the free Island Explorer bus to the Acadia National park and downtown Winter Harbor. You’ll love our home because it is very comfortable with beautiful gardens and many quiet sitting areas for early morning coffee or your late afternoon wine. Our place is very accommodating for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and for bird watchers.

Come stay in gracious comfort in the Franklin Room at a our charming 1845 traditional bed and breakfast, strategically located between Acadia National Park and Mt Desert. Cozy, peaceful B&B near Bar Harbor, ME and Acadia National Park. We are a half mile from Lamoine beach on a quiet country road. Our property has a pond and 6 acres with an array of wildlife. Local quaint shopping areas and restaurants in Ellsworth and Bar Harbor which is from 15-30 minutes from our B&B.
