Jack Jr.-a little place in the woods

Jack Jr is tucked away at the edge of the woods up on the hill of the historical city of Newaygo. This space was created to be a getaway from all the hustle bustle with a .5 mile trek (walk/bike/drive) into the town of Newaygo or its many surrounding adventures. Bike or hike the Dragon Trail, visit the Newaygo Brewery or Market 41, fish the Muskegon River or any of the multiple surrounding bodies of water we have. Float the river in the summer or hit the snowmobile trails in the winter.

Lakefront Fun w/ Private Dock, Sandbar & Hot Tub

Escape to this all-season spacious lakefront retreat that sleeps 12, just 40 minutes from Grand Rapids on an all-sports lake. Enjoy the beautiful sunrises and the sandbar right out front of the house. Relax in the large hot tub, paddle in kayaks, canoe, or paddleboards, or fish from the private dock. Kids love the swings, beach, and yard games, while the game room features Pac-Man and SNES. End the day grilling on the deck, enjoying a family movie night, or gathering around the fire pit.

Relax and escape to this 3 bedroom 1 full bath cottage. Take advantage of the breathtaking lake views and private waterfront on the charming all sports Muskellunge Lake in Montcalm County, Michigan. Swim or fish in the sandy bottom lake. Gather around a campfire at the water's edge. Use our Kayaks with life jackets provided. Also a public boat launch nearby. Bring your own boat and tie off on our dock or rent a Pontoon boat from a rental company next door.

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).

The Loon's Nest is a unique lakefront bungalow with separate bunkhouse. It comes with a pontoon boat, 2 kayaks, private beach and dock w/swim platform (from May through October, weather permitting). The property is spread over 2 large lots. It offers an expansive view of Lake Wabasis; a sandy beach at the shoreline; and a backyard surrounded by woodlands for complete privacy. Plus an adjacent vernal pond filled with the sights and sounds of nature.
