Cozy home near the coastal town of Camden, Maine!

This home is in a country setting on Hatchet Mountain in Hope near the beautiful Maine coast and about 8 miles from Camden. About a mile from our home, is Hobbs Pond (2 miles long!) with public access for swimming, boating and kayaking. Hiking trails surround us, too! Beaver Lodge, a favorite spot for weddings and other family events, is also nearby. This listing has an exemption for all animals. For safety reasons, it may not be suitable for young children.

This is a spacious 1000 sq. ft. apartment in my childhood home that has been renovated in Spring 2020 with a modern coastal theme and well appointed with vintage items. "Between the Woods and the Water" is located half way from Port Clyde to Tenants Harbor, Maine. These two lobster fishing villages, on the St. George peninsula of Maine, feature a town beach, Marshall Point Light House, and quick access to the ferry to Monhegan Island.

The Boathouse is on Gilkey Harbor with western views over the Camden Hills and spectacular sunsets. Full use of dock directly in front of the boathouse. Full beachfront access & many acres to explore! LGBT friendly. Harbor tour can be arranged at an additional cost.
