The perfect base for a relaxing break or an activity-based holiday in the Peak District National Park. Lovely beamed, open-plan area (sitting, dining and kitchen) with log burner. Two double bedrooms (king beds) with en-suites (shower/sink/toilet); one twin room and a family bathroom. Gravelled drive with space to sit outside (outdoor furniture April to October only). Parking for 3 cars max.

This 17th century barn is a love note to its 1960s conversion, with all its quirky features still intact. From this idyllic rural location on the Peak District National Park boundary, there are breathtaking valley views across Bradbourne Brook, and yet the barn is only a 10-minute drive into Ashbourne.

Shawbroom Farm Barns are a pair of semi-detached quality barn conversions located next to the owners’ home on their working smallholding, at the end of a quiet lane in the small North Shropshire village of Soudley. Together the barns sleep four, both have private decked terraces and hot tubs. Close to the village of Cheswardine, a short drive takes you to Newport or Market Drayton. These lovely barns are a perfect destination for a romantic and relaxing break all year round.

Part of the ‘Cliffe Park Farm Stays’ and situated on a working farm which has 3/4 of a mile of frontage to Rudyard Lake as well as having the Staffordshire Way footpath running through the farm, makes this a great base for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside.
