There are no cameras in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Fifteen minutes to Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery- Badin Lake, and Uwharrie recreational area. 8 miles to Dennis Vineyards. Asheboro Zoo is one hour. Each guest over one is an additional $15 per day per person—kids under 2 N/C. $10 per day per animal. PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. Airbnb cannot add the correct pet fee; we will request it after booking.

Lakefront home near Uwharrie Forest

This cozy home with two distinct living areas overlooks a wide expanse of water on Badin Lake. Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. The Asheboro Zoo is a beautiful drive less than an hour away. Take the time to read the guest review below who says it all! The living room features a queen sleeper sofa gel mattress for extra comfort. Amenities- A/C, WiFi, washer/dryer, 2 kayaks, paddle board, life jackets and lake floats, charcoal grill, cornhole game, Xbox one with games, board games, QR clue, toys and books, and gorgeous sunsets! Dock is included & you may dock your own boat from nearby boat ramp.

Relax and unwind at our waterfront cottage on Lake Tillery with a stunning view. • Enjoy swimming and a boat house right in the front yard. (Boat not included but you are welcome to dock at our pier during your stay.) • Use one of our Kayaks or bring your own (we have 2 available) • Enjoy fishing off the pier or the point. (license required if you are over 16)

Sitting on 20 acres of land, and slightly off the main road, it is a perfect place to relax, unplug and get away from all the hustle and bustle of life. It is sparkling clean, has all the modern amenities and is decorated to make you feel right at home. Even though this is a farmhouse, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping within a short drive.

Flying Eagle Lake Retreat

Lake in your back yard for fishing, Kayaking (2-seater kayak provided) a small hot tub and firepit to relax as you watch the eagles, cranes, loons, ducks and numerous other birds. Close to Charlotte speedway, Morrow mountain, multiple wineries, breweries, gold mines and Antique shops. Many yard games available for use. Less than 2 Hours to the Blue Ridge and Mayberry (Mt Airy) This is a no smoking/vaping property. No swimming or float tubes allowed in the lake

Mamaw's House

Transport yourself back to a more peaceful era in this retro brick ranch on a wooded lot! Two large bedrooms share a hall bath. *Bathroom just renovated in 2025.* Period furniture was made in NC for that local touch. Mamaw’s kitchen has been stocked so you can do takeout or make a meal. Drink your coffee on the side porch looking out over the peaceful yard. Parking is a breeze since you have a two-car carport and driveway too. :)

Sweet Harvest Homestead

**Our house is old and not well insulated, so it can be chilly in winter and warm in summer. Think of it as an indoor glamping experience! Please keep this in mind before booking. Step back in time in our vintage farmhouse, built in 1915. This charming and quaint retreat offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere—perfect for those looking to unplug and unwind. While we don’t have a TV, we do offer WiFi in case you need to check in.

Studio Apartment on 15 Acre Nature Reserve

Nestled on top of Woodsong, a 15-acre Nature Reserve. Started 25 years ago to protect the native plants and wildlife in our area. A cozy stay for couples and adults to relax and reconnect in nature. The studio apartment is fully equipped to give you a vacation feel. Grill out under the hanging nite lights. Unwind at the fire pit. Cuddle up with epic sunsets! Stargaze! Seasonal firewood is provided (free) at guest request.
