Gorgeous Condesa House with Beautiful Private Garden

This gorgeous, recently renovated 1920's home features its own private garden, a welcome green oasis in the bustling metropolis of Mexico City. Spend the morning exploring the neighborhood, then retire for a siesta or afternoon coffee on the terrace. This house is the residence of a travel writer and her partner, a renowned Spanish artist. Once owned by Mexico’s Secretary of Education, Jaime Torres Bodet (a founder of our world famous Anthropology Museum) it has been painstakingly restored by the current owners in keeping with the true essence of the property, while adding a personal touch with furniture, objects and art they have collected from all over the world. This is one of the few houses in Mexico with European central heating. ( a must to have during winter ) The house has two stories and a mezzanine. On the main floor is the living room with original chimney and wood floors, kitchen, and dining room that seats 8 people and looks onto a peaceful garden. This floor also contains a half bathroom. On the mezzanine level there’s a Japanese futon and an 1800’s piano—a perfect nook to read, relax, or make music. On the second floor you’ll find the master suite with its own bathroom, balcony and separate TV room that can be used as an extra bedroom with a very comfortable Full bed. When the TV room is used as a bedroom it has his own entrance. Two additional bedrooms on this level share another bathroom: one has a queen-sized bed, the other two twin beds that can be joined to form a king-sized bed. Linens are of the finest quality Egyptian cotton. The house is fully serviced. Our housekeeper Ceci will spoil you with fresh orange juice and a selection of fresh fruit, bread, and homemade jam. And, of course, there’s fresh ground Mexican coffee and an excellent selection of fine teas. (We also offer options for vegan travelers.) This is one of the few houses in central Mexico City with its own private garden, a welcome green oasis in this bustling megalopolis. You will feel like a local resident, as well as a pampered guest at a first class hotel. Welcome to your own Mexican dream! Guest have access to the whole house. This gorgeous house sits on a quiet, tree-lined street with multiple museums, parks, art galleries, and restaurants all within walking distance. The metro stop is only 2 blocks from the house. Metro bus 4 blocks. You can use the public bikes that are in front the church (2 blocks), or in front the bookstore ( 2 blocks to the oposite side ) The taxi stand is 2 blocks from the house You can Uber If you have your own park I have a reserved place in the house. Really well connected! Ceci the house keeper is an amazing cook. She will cook hot breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request. She usually do all the cleaning in the morning, but she can stay longer if you need her. We like to give our guests delicious hot Mexican breakfast. We like them to taste real Mexican home cooking. We are open to vegan, vegetarian, or any specific diet. Luis the maintenance guy will go to the house only is there is a problem to be fixed.

🏡 Casa segura y silenciosa, 3 recámaras hasta para 6 personas, cocina equipada, estacionamiento dentro del fraccionamiento. Rodeada de las principales avenidas del municipio y a solo 10 minutos de las principales plazas comerciales Town Square y Galerías Metepec, muy cercano a la zona de los 🏥 y el IMSS. Metepec, pueblo mágico y cuna del árbol de la vida, tiene una gran tradición alfarera. El residencial está a 15 de la estación del 🚅, a 15 minutos del 🛬 y a 30 de la central de 🚌 de Toluca.

Cuenta con sala con Tv, cocina comedor, 3 recamaras (2 de ellas comparten baño y 1 más con baño independiente). Vista parcial al lago desde su terraza. Located in Coyoacán, typical Mexican neighborhood surrounded by markets, museums and historical buildings, a few blocks from Museu Frida Khalo, this house was the first studio for the painter and muralist José Clemente Orozco, who designed and build it between 1921 and 1923. All the bedrooms have their own bathroom and the main suite has a king-size bed, Smart TV and a terrace. It has a big and beautiful garden and a work space with its own terrace too. The garden is shared by 2 houses.
