The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. This stylish Edwardian terraced house is perfect for couples or a family. On the edge of Durham Heritage Coastline & Castle Eden Dene Nature Reserve. 8 mins walk to beaches & cliffs. On a clear day views as far as Blyth & Whitby. The sandy beach has wonderful rock formations & an abundance of sea glass after a high tide. Regular sightings of seal, dolphin, deer and rare birds. Also the beach is the location of the final scenes of Get Carter with Michael Caine & Britt Ekland (1970).
