Enjoy all the character and charm of yesteryear in this magnificent period home built in 1921. Ornate ceilings and leadlight windows are tastefully combined with modern comforts. Free Wifi & Netflix. Kuranda is located two blocks from the CBD, short stroll to restaurants, cafe's, shopping centre, fast food outlets and the beautiful Wimmera River. Hidden behind a tall hedge Kuranda house has a double door wide entrance hall, 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, dining, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, Plus a 5th small bedroom/office and sleeps up to 10 people. Old world charm with modern conveniences. We have one security camera at the front door facing the walk way/drive way and will be on during your stay.

The Old Post Office

The Post Office is located a leisurely stroll from the renowned Bunyip Hotel and the Bridge Cafe. Enjoy the scenic walk along the river to the Geriwerd (Grampians) lookout. Cavendish is 20 minutes to Gariwerd (Grampians) National Park and is the perfect base for hiking, a day trip to the beach or wineries. Please note there isn’t a TV in the room however there is unlimited wifi to stream on your own devices. Please consider this when choosing to stay at the Post Office.

Grampians Peaks Retreat

The home is great for couples and families (with kids). The inside of the home is quite spacious - you really don't feel like you are living on top of each other. The back deck has added another area to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The front two bedrooms have sensational views of "the Pinnacle" waking up to the sun shining on the mountain range is something you need to experience. A sealed path leads back into Halls Gap - approx a 15-20 min stroll.
