Mornings, evenings and weekdays are peaceful for those who like to fish, boat or kayak. Just over a mile to the 4 Corners at Lake James with dining and night life. Cap the evening off with a waterside fire!

Long Lake Cottage

Long Lake Cottage is on a 10 mph lake that is a pretty peaceful spot to relax. Enjoy bonfires, kayaking, fishing, and grilling at our place. Long Lake is a part of the Pigeon River chain that you can kayak along through multiple lakes. Less than 10 minutes from Angola (Trine University, Pokagon State Park, groceries, etc.). We hope you enjoy your stay! We have a strict cancellation policy, but we will refund you 100% of your stay if you do need to cancel 14 days before your arrival.

Lake front home in Angola, Indiana. Easy access to 80/90 toll road and I-69. Minutes away from Pokagon State Park, where you can take hell's point challenge and toboggan, multiple wineries, and great restaurants. About 1 hr. from Notre Dame University. The lake house is 30 ft. from the second basin of Crooked Lake. Crooked Lake offers great fishing! 2 adult Viper kayaks are available for use at the waterfront. From Memorial Day to Labor day there is a 17ft. water trampoline.

Charming upstairs apartment on one of the cleanest lakes in northeast Indiana. Family friendly, all sports lake. Kid friendly swimming area. Private dock with sunning deck and boat space. Close to Pokagon State Park, shopping, wineries and breweries. Or, just relax and enjoy lake life! For larger groups, rent an additional apartment. We have a total of three, all on the same property. Apartments 1 & 2 are across the drive above the barn Discounts for weekly and monthly rentals.

Well appointed Chef’s kitchen stocked with all of your culinary needs. We offer private cooking classes and during the summer historical boat tours on Lake James. While this could just be a cozy place to crash for a night, it can also be a private cooking class followed by a relaxing sunset cruise on Lake James.
