In Stevensville with its variety of restaurants, beaches, and shops, Glenlord Cottage is also within easy reach of many SW Michigan attractions and is well placed for visits to wineries, golf courses, and downtown St. Joseph with its shops and festivals.

Sweet cottage on our farm: Fully equipped kitchen and furnished living/sleeping area 14’x15' approx., washer/dryer. Sleeps 4: queen bed and queen sofa bed. Lots of privacy and next to organic garden, fields, stable and fruit orchards. All utilities, TV and WI-FI included. Well water with new water softener and water heater. Pet friendly; no pet fee. Lots of farm paths to walk your pet. Encourage off leash if trained. Horses have moved to another farm while pasture and stable rehabbed.

We have sought to equip our home to a high standard and to anticipate your needs by providing all the things you might want for a relaxing stay. There are games in the back yard that will interest all ages. Close to beaches, wineries, Four Winds Casino, cross country ski, South Bend football, South Haven and many other locations. We also provide a pass to Silver Beach and all other county parks.

Stay in our studio apartment suite with private exterior door entrance. Hosts live in the rest of the house. From the backyard you can fish, kayak/canoe, paddle board, enjoy a bonfire, grill, and relax by the river. There's a king memory foam bed, sleeper sofa, and 49" TV. Off-grid, off-road rustic farm cabin nestled in the woods. Count the stars. Watch the birds and fireflies. Fall asleep to crickets and frogs harmonizing thru the night. Wake up to roosters crowing and wild turkeys gobbling. Includes portable grill, bedding, and campfire site. Heated by a wood burning stove. Wood bundles are sold at all local gas stations and grocery stores. 4x4 vehicle recommended for winter stays.

Nestled on five secluded, tree-lined acres, with a pond, waterfall, fire pit, tree swing, basketball court and walking trails, The Shire feels a million miles away from it all - but isn't! We are only minutes away from wineries, breweries, amazing beaches, restaurants and shopping. (Notre Dame is an easy 30 minute drive). Southwest Michigan is a beautiful place to live! If you are looking for a zen like place to get away for a few days, the Gingerbread House is perfect. Guests have separate and private apartment (with Smart Lock) on bottom floor of (occupied) home with private patio overlooking huge ravine. Our home is surrounded by over 20 acres of woods, yet we are only minutes from grocery, restaurants, golfing and beaches.
