Eagle Shadow Camper

Eagle Shadow Camper is a stationary RV trailer parked in Eagle Shadow Campground. This is a well-used, but cozy space perfect for a small group to stay in Hyder, Alaska. It fits up to 5 people with 1 bed (slightly shorter than average), 1 bunk, a couch, and a dinette that converts into a bed. Hyder is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by snowcapped mountains, the Tongass National Forest, and Salmon River. We are located only 4 miles from the world-famous Bear Viewing Recreational Site.

Yukon Drive Guest House

The Bayview Hotel was built 1925 and restored 1994 and 2018, This is one of the few original buildings remaining after the fires that destroyed 5 th Avenue Main street .The Hotel has 8 on-suite private rooms with a common area for guest use. The Eagles Nest Unit 1

The Eagles Nest Unit 1 is a unique, safe tenting space with cots inside a bus. The base fee covers one person, with an additional charge of $25 per night for each extra guest. (Children under 2 are free.) The base fee includes the cots with mattresses; however, we can provide pillows and blankets for an additional fee. Located at Eagle Shadow Campground, we are close to the major attractions in our area, the Bear Observation Site, and Salmon Glacier.

The Beaver Lodge

​​The Beaver Lodge is a conversion van with a very comfortable bed suitable for 2 people. Located at Eagle Shadow Campground, it is a perfect place for someone wanting to explore the local area around Hyder, AK and Stewart, BC. When is the last time you saw a motel this cheap- only $40? The Beaver lodge has a fridge, a microwave, a small heater, a fan, a small table and a chair.
