Cowbeach Cottage is Grade II listed and has been lovingly restored to a high standard. It features a wealth of old oak beams and an inglenook fireplace with a cosy wood burning stove. It is tastefully decorated throughout to provide a relaxing space. The bespoke oak staircase leads to a beautiful vaulted bedroom with views across the Kent countryside. The cottage benefits from a private south facing garden and patio. It is ideally situated to explore the many National Trust properties close by.

Rustic Log Cabin, quiet with uninterrupted views

The cabin is made of wood, set in 12 acres of land. It has a decking area at the back of the property overlooking uninterrupted views of open farmland which is quiet and peaceful. It’s a studio with a 5ft bed, kitchenette, shower room with WC. Breakfast items are provided including Bread, pastries, butter, milk yogurt juice, jam, fruit, tea and coffee. Enjoy this cosy but spacious room, it has its own entrance with a south facing patio and garden. An ensuite shower room and super king size bed. The room has lovely views,and private garden over looking a tree lined paddock, full of wildlife. Enjoy an early morning cuppa whilst relaxing in the super king size bed, or a evening glass of wine on the patio, and you may even see an owl swooping and foraging for food. There is a great pub only a short 5 minute walk away.

The studio which has recently been refurbished, is set in the garden adjacent to the main house. It has it’s own entrance exclusively for guests, which you enter via French doors off the patio. This space can also be enjoyed for a morning coffee or a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon or evening. We are set in the picturesque village of Appledore which has a local shop, beautiful church and a lovely country pub all within a two minute walk from the studio.

Old Smock Mill is a romantic place for couples. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and relaxing. Everything is designed to unwind you from the moment you walk in. It is surrounded by the lovely Kent countryside where you can ramble and refresh yourselves by perhaps ending the day in one of the great pubs cosy by a log fire in Winter or in Summer in an English garden. Gusbourne vineyard a mile up the road, as is the Rare breeds centre which is ideal for families.
