Experience a unique stay in our converted 12m container home and relax on the beautifu wooden deck outside with both a hammock and wood fired hot tub. Sleep comfortably in the queen size bed and enjoy a full kitchen as well as a bathroom, smart TV and Wi-Fi. Nestled in our backyard with partial privacy inside Firlands Park Equestrian Estate in Gordons Bay, this is a modest but peaceful spot. We’re not offering views or luxury surrounds, just a quiet, comfortable space with heartfelt hospitality.

Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

For larger groups you can book Lente Cottage (3 doors down) & Protea Cottage together for 12 guests

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Sam lives upstairs and will be there to welcome you on your arrival.

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.
