Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. Central , convenient location in lovely coastal town of Donaghadee close to shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Free carpark opposite front door. Motorcyclists very welcome

'Lilac Tree' is a quaint two bedroom cottage located in the historic village of Greyabbey on the shores of Strangford Lough, Ards Peninsula, opposite the beautiful Cistercian Abbey. A beautiful cottage, set off the main road with private parking and large back garden. Surrounded by fields and only a 2 minute walk to Killard beach and the start of the breathtaking Killard National Reserve walk. Just a 10 minute walk in the other direction will have you at Ballyhornan Beach. Castle Ward Estate and Winterfell (GOT) is only 4 miles away and so is the picturesque village of Strangford with plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy. The house has been recently refurbished.

It is the perfect base to escape to the country, enjoy amazing wildlife and the wider great outdoors that Co. Down has to offer. The well equipped comfortable cottage sleeps five and has direct access to Strangford Lough, a secret bird hide situated on the shore line with a secluded wooded BBQ, fire pit and picnic area for guest to enjoy.

Take a break and unwind at our peaceful country cottage, with great views of the countryside, relax in the hot tub, maybe enjoy the sunset from the tub! we are Chris and Hannah, the owners of the Gate House and look forward to welcoming you for a relaxing rural break. The Gate House is located at the end of a country lane, as such it is not the most even of surfaces! vehicles with very low suspension may struggle 😬 we hope to see you soon Chris and Hannah
