Relax in Your Private Spa at This Tranquil Country Cottage

Indulge in a luxury spa experience at a tranquil cottage. Follow a garden path from your decked balcony to a private wood-fired hot tub, sauna, hammock, outdoor shower and summerhouse. It's a great spot for stargazing by night and bird-watching by day. Cook in a modern well-equipped kitchen or have a night off, dinner prepared for you by us and brought over to the cottage. Please note that all logs for the hot tub and log burner are inclusive ! We are pet friendly and welcome 1 large breed or 2 smaller breeds of dog. The cottage is situated in the grounds of our own home. While it is entirely private we are on hand if you need anything and Mark can also provide private catering as a highly regarded chef sourcing the best local produce in Cornwall ! The cottage terrace opens out from the bedroom with direct access to the garden and a path which leads to an outdoor spa with wood fired hot tub, sauna, hammock, fire pit and summerhouse. We are located in the adjacent house should you need us for anything at all but offer our guests total privacy otherwise. The choice is yours ! The cottage is in a pretty rural hamlet surrounded by countryside near the market town of Launceston in the county of Cornwall. A car is needed. The cottage sleeps 2 adults in a King sized bed and up to 2 small children (under 12) on the sofa bed.

Near too Northcott Mouth, a small, unspoilt National Trust beach, or a short walk takes you to the church and village inn. Bude is 2 miles away. The coastal path is close by. Tennis, golf, horse riding, mountain boarding, surfing and fishing are all on offer here. The fishing villages of Padstow, Port Isaac and Rock are well worth a visit, and the Eden Project of course

Beautiful Dartmoor house, idyllic moorland setting

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

All fully disinfected within 24 hrs prior to arrival. 5 minutes to Bude's beaches, ideal for surfing, walking or relaxing. The living area is tastefully open plan with traditional wood burner, smart TV and WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped and integrated. There's private off-street parking with EV charge point. Enclosed garden. Have an amazing stay.

The Nest, Bude

Newly refurbished in 2023, this converted barn features underfloor heating throughout, a 43-inch smart TV (lounge) and 23-inch TV (breakfast bar), wood burner, large shower, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, washing machine, king bed, snuggle sofa (new for 2026), turfed area, deck, outdoor hammock and garden furniture. A little corner of heaven on our peaceful private farm just 2.5 miles from Bude, home to our chicken flock, two horses, two dogs and two cats. Hot tub available as an optional add-on.
