Pod One - The Crofter's Snug - NC500 + sea views!

At only five miles from the popular John o Groats signpost, Jo and Karina would love to welcome you at one of three cozy self-catering glamping pods at The Crofter's Snug - lots of local area info on our website. Located at the top of Scotland you'll enjoy one of the best views in the area - even the locals are envious! One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

Langwell Bothy

Langwell Bothy has two rooms with vestibule entrance where modest coffee/tea bar is set up. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and small refrigerator, including a sink, NO COOKER. Main bedroom has view over to Hoy island. The second room has a double bed/couch. (If 2 guests & need 2 beds, please message this) There is a shower room/toilet/sink (wet room) accessible only from the second room. The second room has two views over looking the main house garden and views towards Stromness.

Marston Black Rock: Self-catering cabin w/ hot tub

Marston's Black Rock Cabin is set entirely on the ground floor. It features a living-room with a pull-out sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy bedroom, bathroom and its private hot tub. We are in an ideal central location to holiday on Sanday in Lady Village. We are just a minute-walk to the local shop, bicycle hire and post office. A 20-minute steady walk will take you to the play park, pool and gym. The cabin's private entrance is located on a quiet track leading to a pebbly beach.

Self -catering apartment in a unique Island place

New Horries is situated in the east of the Orkney Mainland (main Island), about 12 miles from KIrkwall, in the parish of Deerness, which is almost an Island accessible via a natural causeway (open all year round) between the meeting of the North Sea and North Atlantic Ocean to the south and by Deer Sound to the north. The property - an amalgam of Local, modern, ground floor set into the hill, and traditional Norwegian - and was designed and built by the owners, completed in 2011.

Hillside Camping Pods - Stroma Pod - NC500

Stroma Pod is situated next to Morven Pod in the rural village of Auckengill in Caithness five miles south of John O'Groats. Stroma Pod has sea and countryside views. The shower block is just a few steps away and Stroma Pod has it's own shower, toilet and sink within the block so no shared facilities! All bedding and towels are provided as well as complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk and breakfast cereals. One small or medium size dog is allowed. We do not have WiFi.

Taigh Neonach is Gaelic for odd cottage which suits its slightly unconventional character. It has all amenities on it's doorstep, walking distance to all shops, pubs, restaurants and the Cathedral. Parking nearby. Bedroom 1 can be either superking or twin bed and maisonette bedroom upstairs is a king bed.

3 Whitehouse Lane is a quirky fisherman's cottage situated in the heart of picturesque Stromness. This thoughtfully handcrafted house features some very unique fixtures and fittings adding great interest to your stay and the fishing heritage of Stromness is a key feature. This cottage is in walking distance of all local amenities but situated in a quiet part of the town with private parking.
