Complete serenity awaits you at Cabin on the Rocks! This 3 bedroom, 3 bath authentic log cabin is located on a private hillside overlooking the Watauga River and a peaceful pasture. It offers many year-round adventures just a short drive away. Spend the day browsing the streets of Boone, Banner Elk or Blowing Rock, enjoying a glass of wine at the Grandfather Vineyards, on a bike or hiking trail and of course the local ski resorts. Then unwind after a day of fun in your own hot tub.

Cabin in Valle Crucis

Our log cabin nestled in the “High Country” of North Carolina has been in the family since 1979 when my grandparents, looking for a place to retire, moved here after falling in love with the area. The cabin was originally built in Virginia but was moved to Valle Crucis in the 1950s. Our dream has been to turn it into a peaceful mountain get-away for people looking for a break from the busyness of life to enjoy some time in the valley to rest, relax and explore the area.

The Bitterroot Barn

The Bitterroot Barn is unique small structure with a queen size bed, two twin size beds in the loft. Built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel, it has a Full bath, kitchenette, Roku TV, Wifi, and a Bluetooth Surround Soundbar. There is a gas fire pit, small grill on the porch. If you are looking to experience what a nice tiny home feels like, we highly recommend visiting the Bitterroot Barn. We are less than 7 minutes from downtown Boone.

Blueberry Hill- Unique A-Frame Cabin near Boone!

The A-Frame on Blueberry Hill is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that sits on 5 acres made up of rolling hills, 2 small ponds & of course its namesake; a Blueberry orchard. In addition to the king & queen bedrooms, there is an upstairs loft area with a queen bed adjacent to the bathroom, as well as a recently renovated basement with a set of bunk beds and an additional queen bed. We also have a new hot tub, propane grill and large outdoor deck.

Private Cabin Nestled on 15 acres in the Woods

This lovely weekender or longer-term getaway retreat is +- 750 square feet of cozy comfortable space. It is a very nicely appointed rustic cabin of modern studio design. It has everything you need for that affordable vacation away from it all and is nestled on a prominent site among 15 surrounding acres of lush forest. Build a fire in the wood burning fireplace or outside in the firepit. Grill outside, sit and listen to the birds.
