Enjoy a local wine on the patio in summer or in front of the cosy wood fire in winter whilst watching for wallabies, cute little pademelons or our resident echidna. A lovely continental breakfast with homemade bakery items will set you up for a day of sight seeing.

Sun Studio: Minutes from Cataract Gorge and City!

Sun Studio welcomes you for your short stay in this lovely part of Launceston. This one bedroom studio is private and peaceful, in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. It offers beautiful views from the bedroom over Cataract Gorge. It is a short 7 minute drive to the city, and can be walked, but please note that we located high above both the city and gorge (hence the lovely views) and so walking is definitely for those used to steep hills.

'Stonesthrow' was built during the Arts & Crafts / Art Deco periods of the early 1900's . We're just a stone's throw from Cataract Gorge and First Basin, a short walk to town, and close to all that Launceston has to offer. 'Stonesthrow' is a private residence with three generous bedrooms, one bathroom and off street parking for one car. With a well-equipped kitchen and eclectic 'mid-century modern' decor, it's a real home away from home.
