Small details abound from the familiar characters in portraits to the potions cabinet, the car in the tree, the Lumos & Nox switches, & much more. All just outside the New River Gorge National Park! My house is in Gauley River National Recreational area. And only Approximately 3 miles from Summersville Lake and the famous Gauley River whitewater rafting. Rock climbing, hiking trails, swimming only minutes away. Also Fayetteville is only 15 minutes away. And the New River Gorge Area. The United States newest National Park. Lots of hiking and endless adventures. Gorgeous sunset from the fire pit right in front of my house. Also enjoy the sunset view while soaking in the Hot Tub.

Songbird Sanctuary

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Our place is on a little dirt road with a beautiful view of the sun rising over the mountains and horses grazing in the field. Off the main road approximately 1/10 of a mile with no traffic in front of the house. Beautiful backyard with a fire pit and grill, also corn hole for outdoor fun. No nosy neighbors, but the sound of children playing nearby. Just minutes away from rafting, mountain climbing and new river gorge

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
