Restful Lakeside Getaway Cottage -Dogs allowed

This pond-side cottage is a peaceful place to relax and unwind. Sit on the enclosed porch and watch the water or enjoy the front porch swing where you can listen to the birds and frogs. We are 12 min. from downtown Sumter and 20 min from Shaw AFB. Local points of interest are Swan Lake Iris Gardens and Poinsett State Park. It is only 2 hours to Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC & 3 hrs to the mtns. While it is conveniently located, this cottage offers a quiet place to put your feet up and rest.

Our cabin is located in Stateburg, SC between Columbia and Sumter and within a 5-15 minute commute to Shaw AFB and Sumter. It is a convenient stop between I-77 and I-95 and has close proximity to Poinsett and Congaree Parks and The Palmetto Trail. It sits on top of a hill offering panoramic views, quiet, and privacy. Red Roof Loft @ FireFly Farm

Come enjoy wide open quiet spaces on our almost 30-acre farm. If you need time and space to unwind, you will find that here. Our farm includes a farm cat, 2 rescue dogs, a flock of chickens (fresh eggs please!!) and a few horses. If you are NOT an animal lover, Firefly Farm might not be a good fit. Marshmallow (our cat) will sometimes make the top of your vehicle her little resting place. And if you leave your door open, she might just jump right in!
