The Kazbah: self-contained on the Great Ocean Road

The self-contained Kazbah is the private downstairs wing of a two storey house. It's just off the Great Ocean Road, a short walk to sparkling beaches, rock pools, the Split Point Lighthouse, swimming, surfing (or boogie boarding - there are two you can borrow), shops and cafes, with a sheltered outdoor shower. Use as your base to explore the Great Ocean Road, glorious beaches, charming seaside villages or bush walks and characterful country towns. At night go to sleep listening to the waves....

The studio comprises of a large suite and ensuite bathroom with a private entrance separate from the main residence. The comfortable suite boasts a queens size bed, quality linen and towels, toaster / kettle, m/w oven, smart TV (compatible with guests Netflix subscription) WiFi, breakfast table, couch, heating / AC and private parking.

Fee and Marks place is a peaceful spot in a quiet Jan Juc street, 15 mins walk to Jan Juc shops & beach, close to bus stop and 40 mins walk to Torquay or Bells beach. We live upstairs & don’t allow pets as we encourage wildlife into our garden; a blend of indigenous & food producing plants, stone walls & sculptures. Mark is an artist & has embellished home & garden with his work. Fee is a masseus with treatment room upstairs. Please contact Fee if you would like to prebook a massage.

A peaceful rural outlook, sounds of frogs and birds, while lying in a luxurious bath in a stylish, spacious retreat, super comfy queen bed. 2.5km to Whites beach. Note: The studio is attached to our house, you may hear general life kitchen/tv noise, but you have a private entrance and secluded easterly deck. Cooking facilities: BBQ, microwave, air fryer, rice cooker, kettle, toaster, wifi. Dog friendly. PLEASE - dog bath before arrival, bring a towel for muddy/sandy paws.

The Studio is a small French inspired apartment attached to a private dwelling in Lorne. The private secluded cottage garden attracts plenty of sun throughout the day, with wildlife in abundance, including koalas, parrots, kookaburras, and the occasional wallaby. We are a short walk to Teddys Lookout, the St.George river walk, the stunning beaches, as well as the renowned cafes and restaurants of Lorne.
