Tiny camping cabin in the woods with the comforts of home. Sleeping space for 2 in the loft. Partial kitchen with a coffee maker, toaster oven and refrigerator provided. Desk space for working, 2 comfy rocking chairs to relax in. Internet with Netflix and Amazon video available at no charge. PLEASE NOTE: No plumbing in the cabin. There is a shared bath house. Entry door is 6 ft. Tall folks take care. This cabin has only the loft bed with a ladder for access. A bedrail is available if needed

Nestled at the base of Pilot Mountain lies a quaint log cabin. On a cold winter's night, cozy up to the warm woodstove or sit outside & enjoy a beautiful fall sunset. It doesn't matter what time of year you visit, there is always something to do. Take time to visit Andy Griffith's hometown of Mayberry (Mount Airy), visit one of our local wineries, go hiking at Pilot Mountain State Park or Hanging Rock State Park, or canoe the Yadkin River. At the end of the day, relax on the porch swing!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mounatians.. Peaceful country setting without a lot of noise, maybe a cow or donkey. It has a view of Skull Camp mountain and you can swing on the front porch. Conviently located close to Raven Knob Scout Camp. Close to a stocked trout river, Fisher River. Convenient location, 20 minutes from historic Mt. Airy and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Serre Vineyards (1 mile), many other local wineries, and numerous wedding venues are close by. The Bear Den is centrally located in historic Mt. Airy. If desired it is a mile walk to downtown Mt. Airy, 1/2 mile walk to Veterans Park, 1 block from Mt. Airy High School (Home of the Granite Bears), 20 minutes to Pilot Mountain State Park and 40 minutes to Winston-Salem. The exterior colors, Navy Blue and White, are the colors of the Mt. Airy High School Granite Bears. The inside is cozy and has the feel of Mayberry. There is a spacious backyard and ample parking at The Bear Den. Enjoy!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The SheShed has a million dollar view and is located 2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
