Boutique Black Mountain Bungalow Near Asheville

Let stress melt away while sipping coffee on a porch and listening to birdsong from the surrounding woods. It's tranquil inside, too, with carefully selected furnishings inspired by minimalism, walnut floors, and locally crafted kitchen countertops. The house is located about a two min drive from downtown Black Mountain and about 18 min from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. We have a chiminea and adirondak chairs in the back yard for our guests use. Build a fire and roast some marshmallows with the family! Up to two dogs are welcome with a one time $75 pet fee. Our rental includes everything our guests need for a short or long stay. Fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cook. Laundry and dryer included. We are available for questions and do our utmost to respond to your inquiries as quickly as we can. A relaxing and pleasant experience is our priority. The bungalow is only a few minutes' walk from Tomahawk Lake, beautiful walking trails, and nearby waterfalls. Visit breweries and restaurants in local Black Mountain and explore fine dining and nightlife in Asheville—a 20-minute drive away. Less than a five minute drive from downtown Black Mountain and approximately 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. Uber is available to get you to either location if needed.

Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain. The comfortable living space includes a rain shower, king sized bed in a lofted sleeping area, cozy wood stove and a full kitchen. Surrounding the cabin is a large deck with a table and chairs, a luxurious soaking bathtub, and a patio equipped with a fire pit and propane grill.

Welcome to Scout's Den! A cozy retreat walkable to all of Black Mountain's amazing restaurants and shopping. This adorable garden studio is separate from the main house and has a carport with space for one vehicle. This is truly an escape! With no internet we encourage our guests to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains and our small town charm. We do have a TV with a Super Nintendo and DVD player if you feel like staying in. We live on the property full time with our family.

The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Come stay in our cozy, quiet Guest Suite tucked away in the Bee Tree Valley of Swannanoa! We are just a scenic 15 minute drive into both Asheville and Black Mountain, North Carolina, and the perfect location to access hiking trails and Parkway exploring. The honey bees invite you to come taste freshly harvested honey on homemade bread - in our peaceful, sweet retreat in the woods! Cell service is spotty down our road, but we have great wifi here at Honey Bee Suite.
