The river is swim friendly, offering a variety of activities, from kayaking, boating and skiing or just relaxing at your private jetty. The charming Farm Cottage on our fully operational dairy farm between Bonnievale and Swellendam provides a serene escape. The cottage features a spacious living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and 3 comfortable bedrooms and outdoor braai. Outside you’ll be greeted by sweeping views of the surrounding farmland and mountain views with cows as your neighbours. The river flows nearby, offering opportunities for fishing or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll along its banks. We warmly welcome pets.

@Maggie is a contemporary, architect designed holiday home in a small eco reserve, 5 minutes from Montagu, on the R62, about 180 km from Cape Town. Access to the reserve is gained by entering and passing through the orchards on Le Domaine farm. The reserve itself is nestled next to the CBR dam, with the ideal opportunity to do silent watersport, like canoeing. For keen birdwatchers this is paradise...watching fish eagles will be the highlight. @Maggie promises a peaceful, tranquil stay.

The Farmhouse boasts an open plan, full kitchen, dining area, a cozy living room with air conditioning, free wi-fi, a fireplace, DSTV, a separate games room with table tennis & indoor braai area along with 3 spacious bedrooms that comfortably accommodate 6 people. There is also a splash pool that is filled with water straight from the river & due to all the tannins in the water, it has a brown colour. The Farmhouse is equipped with a gas stove & inverter, so loadshedding will not affect you.
